Issuance of a library card

  • The library loan card is a combination of a student ID card (identity certificate) and a mobile ID card with bar code on it. You must carry it when you use the library, and you cannot lend it to others.
  • Mobile student ID cards are available after the library app is installed.

Book loan method

  • Using PC for data retrieval
    Log in (Songdam Net ID) to the user's website (http://library.ysc.ac.kr) and search data for the desired data.
  • Go into the library yourself and find the book you searched.
    When searching for a book, look for the billing number (classification number) on the search screen. The data are classified by the KDC (Korean Decimal Classification Act), which combines this classification number and the author's number. The books are arranged in order of these billing numbers.
    The classification number of the KDC (Korean Decimal Classification Act) is largely divided into 10 topics.
  • If you submit the books and student ID cards you find to the loan stand and sign the loan confirmation card, the loan will be processed.
  • Loan books can only be delayed once, and applications for postponement can come to the lending university before the return date and apply for postponement or postpone it directly on its website.

Non-borrowing book

  • Materials such as reference books, papers, newspapers, and serial publications are prohibited in principle and can only be read and copied in the library.
  • References (indicated by the number R): bibliography, index, list, almanac, map, handbook, encyclopedia, etc.

Return of books and overdue fees

  • You can return the money by coming to the library's (return box) within the loan period.
  • Each expired volume will be charged 50 won per day in arrears. Those who are behind on their data will be suspended from lending until they return the data.
  • In the event of a graduation, leave of school, leave of school, retirement, etc., the loan shall be returned to the library immediately.

Loss and destruction of books

Hope Book Application

  • If you have any materials you wish to have in the library, you can sign up for them on the "Library" link after accessing Songdam Net (http://portal.ysc.ac.kr), the "Apply for Hope" menu on the library website (http://library.ysc.ac.kr).

Cooperation to read data from other libraries (organizations)

  • If you want to access data such as other libraries or archives, you can obtain a certificate of reading from the library's website or apply to the library directly. You can use other library materials with this reading certificate.

Using the FAX Service

Library users shall comply with the following.

  • Pay attention to the posts on the library bulletin board, and follow the instructions and guidance of the library staff.
