초록/해제: 요약 :This paper is to analyze the major characteristics of new generation, called ‘Zgeneration’ or ‘Millennial generation’ and to provide educational implications for them in higher educational institutions. Analyzation was performed in three dimensions, i.e. their growing environments, value & orientations, and behavioral styles. New generations are born and raised in mobile, economically difficult, fiercely competitive and less-interfering educational environments. They tend to prefer simplicity over complexity, individuality over the group, novelty over past, reality over ideality, process over outcome. They usually behave to seek their unique information search and filtering style, simplicity and instantaneity, their identical tasting, distrust and resistance to what they think is unfair or fictitious, meaningful work and respect, and fun and amusement. Specific cases for the behavioral styles and educational recommendations are also provided.
