■520    ▼aThis  paper  presents  the  results  of  thermal  flow  field  analysis  in  an  interrupter  of  a  puffer  type  model  GCB.  The  physical  model  is  based  on  the  axisymmetric  form  of  the  conservation  equations  which  are  coupled  with  an  arc  model  including  only  ohmic  heating  energy  with  the  exception  with  radiative  transports  in  the  gas.  The  results  were  obtained  by  using  fixed  grid  independent  of  moving  parts  and  by  using  the  commercial  CFD  package  called  PHOENICS.
