제1 멀티미디어 디바이스(CAMC)와 제2 멀티미디어 디바이스(TV)간의 무선 데이터 전달 방법 - 제1 멀티미디어 디바이스(CAMC) 및 제2 멀티미디어 디바이스(TV)는 제1 무선 표준(BT) 또는 제2 무선 표준(IEEE 802.11B)에 따라 동작되는 무선 접속을 통해 접속되고, 제1 무선 표준(BT) 및 제2 무선 표준(IEEE 802.11B)은 서로 다르거나 양립할 수 없음- 은 제1 무선 표준(BT) 또는 제2 무선 표준(IEEE 802.11B)이 선택된 무선 표준으로 선택되는 선택 단계, 상기 선택된 무선 표준(IEEE 802.11B; 802.11A; BT)의 처리된 접속 명령(IEEE 802.11B-CC), 처리된 접속 파라미터(IEEE 802.11B-CP) 및/또는 처리된 접속 데이터(IEEE 802.11B-CD)를 얻기 위해, 접속 명령(BT-CC), 접속 파라미터(BT-CP) 및/또는 접속 데이터(BT-CD)가 처리되는 적응층 처리 단계, 및 상기 처리된 접속 명령(IEEE 802.11B-CC), 처리된 접속 파라미터(IEEE 802.11B-CP) 및/또는 처리된 접속 데이터(IEEE 802.11B-CD)가 상기 선택된 무선 표준(IEEE 802.11B; 802.11A; BT)에 따라 상기 무선 접속(IEEE 802.11B-WC)을 통해 전송 출력되는 전송 단계를 포함한다. 그러므로, 방법은 하나의 무선 표준에서 다른 무선 표준으로의 무결절성 스위칭을 가능하게 하고, 상부 층들은 스위칭을 인지하지 못한다.

A method for wireless data transfer between a first multimedia device (CAMC) and a second multimedia device (TV), which first multimedia device (CAMC) and second multimedia device (TV) are connected via a wireless connection that is operated according to a first wireless standard (BT) or to a second wireless standard (IEEE802.11b), which first wireless standard (BT) and second wireless standard (IEEE802.11b) are different from and/or not compatible with each other, said method comprising the following steps: a choosing step in which said first wireless standard (BT) or said second wireless standard (IEEE802.11b) is chosen as chosen wireless standard; an adaptation layer processing step in which connection commands (BT-CC), connection parameters (BT-CP) and/or connection data (BT-CD) are processed in order to obtain processed connection commands (IEEE802.11b-CC), processed connection parameters (IEEE802.11b-CP) and/or processed connection data (IEEE802.11b-CD) of said chosen wireless standard (IEEE802.11b; 802.11a; BT); and a sending step in which said processed connection commands (IEEE802.11b-CC), processed connection parameters (IEEE802.11b-CP) and/or processed connection data (IEEE802.11b-CD) are sent out via said wireless connection (IEEE802.11b-WC) according to said chosen wireless standard (IEEE802.11b; 802.11a; BT). The method thus enables a seamless switching from one wireless standard to another wireless standard, wherein upper layers do not notice the switching.

4 IEEE 802.11E 경쟁/자원 예약 프로토콜을 사용한무선 랜 상의 최적 서비스 스테이션 / 에이티 앤드 티 코포레이션
IEEE 802.11E 표준을의 제어된 경쟁/자원 예약 프로토콜을 사용하여 무선 근거리 통신망(LAN)상에서 국(STA)을 최적으로 서비스하는 방법이 개시되어 있다. 무선 LAN은 기본 서비스 세트(BSS)로서 액세스 포인트에 공중링크된 이동 또는 고정식의 다수의 STAS를 포함한다. 하이브리드 조정자(HC)는 액세스 포인트와 함께 위치되어, IEEE 표준 802.11(E)에 규정된 제어된 경쟁/자원 에약 프로토콜을 사용하여 BSS에 대역폭을 할당한다. A network environment including a provider network coupled to a first customer network site via a first access link and to a second customer network site via a second access link. The provider network is operable with the IEEE 802.1ag standard for propagating a remote link fault condition via an Ethernet Alarm Indication and Suppression (AIS) frame or a Continuity Check (CC) frame, which is translated into a locally compliant non-IEEE 802.1ag error delivery condition so that a management entity associated with the first customer network site is appropriately alerted.
6 METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPTIMALLY SERVING STATIONS ON WIRELESS LANS USING A CONTROLLED CONTENTION/RESOURCE RESERVATION PROTOCOL OF THE IEEE 802.11E STANDARD / T CORPORATION, US
A method for optimally serving Stations (STA) on Wireless Local Area Network (LAN) using a Controlled Contention/Resource Reservation protocol of the IEEE 802.11e standard. The Wireless LAN includes multiple STAs, mobile or Stationary, airlinked to an access point as a Basic Service Set (BSS). A Hybrid Coordinator (HC) is co-located with the access point for allocating the bandwidth for the BSS using a Controlled Contention/Resource Reservation protocl defined in the IEEE Standard 802.11(e). The HC transmits Contention Control (CC) frames and initiates Controlled Contention Intervals (CCI) having a selected number of slotted intervals. HC receives Resource Reservations (RR) detailing bandwidth needs from STA contenders during a specified time interval called the Controlled Contention Interval (CCI). Several parameters are installed in each CC for contention control purpose. The several parameters are controlled to optimize efficient use of the wireless medium and reduce access delays for RR frames contending for the wirless medium.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for making a polling list based on IEEE 802.11e-standard.SOLUTION: A controlled contention (CC) frame transmitting part 512 generates a CC frame when a polling list making request is received, and transmits the CC frame to a station on a predetermined network via a predetermined channel after the lapse of a corresponding period in a priority frame space since the reception of the request of making th polling list, and a reservation request (RR) frame receiving part 513 receives an RR frame via a channel during a controlled contention period indicated by the CC frame as a response to the CC frame from the CC frame transmitting part and when the RR frame is received by the RR frame receiving part, a polling list making part 514 assigns a poll frame transmission sequence to the station that transmits the RR frame, through a first-arrival first-processing scheme on the basis of the sequence of RR frame arrivals, and makes the polling list containing the transmission sequence.COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
